Welcome to BRAVE, a podcast from the Townsville Community Information Centre.
From her first day on Earth, Felicity Harper has had to keep a keen eye on her health. Her kidneys failed by the time she was seven years old. Her first transplant came a few years later, but it wore out eventually, and she has had to rely on dialysis for the last decade. It hasn't stopped her, though, as she today runs a fitness studio and was recently lucky enough to receive what she considers a miracle: her daughter.
Felicity's story is just one of the many from our local community that we hope will inspire you.
BRAVE is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
